The Mission

Survived A Choice Mission

We at Survived A Choice Ministries are working to launch a new effort to effectively build value and awareness in adoption amongst youth groups, campuses, events and young people all across the US.  One of our partners, John Hughes, an Othello with the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, has been working with SAC to bring forth this project.  John has worked with people in the adoption industry and one thing he consistanty hears from college and high school counselors is this...."When faced with a crisis pregnancy, young women will consider two options.  Either, have an abortion and be faced with a lifetime of regret and pain or raise the child themselves with no father involved and without the financial means to be succesful.  Thats it.  Other options are rarely considered.  The option of adoption isn't even mentioned in the conversation."  In my mind, this is a tradgedy.  I think when you consider this fact, we haver failed in today's culture to build value in the idea of adoption.

I spend alot of time speaking on pro life, pro family and adoption issues.  After sharing my journey with all age ranges, I can tell you there is no other area to be more effective to change culture than on our campuses and in front of youth groups.  These young people hold the key to the future of pro family values.  Culture needs to be changed, and they are the ones formulating their opinions and positions on issues and these initial stances they take will often last them a lifetime.  If we want to change culture, these issues need to be presented to our young people and they need to be educated and inspired to find value in them.  When you look across the campuses of our nation, ask yourself this....Who is out there doing it?  The time is now to get involved with this project and host SAC at your event, church or campus.  If you are interested in supporting this ministry financially or want information on booking, please refer to our contact us page.

Thanks for viviting the site and we hope you join us in this effort to change culture and promote adoption.
